This ukulele is an OU5LCE ukulele signed by Willie K. Willie has played this instrument around the world twice, performing in many concerts from Europe to Hawaii. Willie has signed the instrument and we will be taking it to NAMM in January 2009 for display in the Oscar Schmidt booth. We are also looking forward to having Willie and his trio perform at NAMM and more information on their performance will be available soon. Willie K is now playing the new, larger OU6LCE tenor ukulele featuring the MISI active pick-up that does not use a nine volt batter but rather takes a charge via a normal AC wall outlet, thus no longer having to discard batteries into our precious environment.
